April Pettengill, Owner, 5th Degree Black Belt
Master April Pettengill began her martial arts journey in the 1980s with Judo during her college years. After a break from martial arts, she found her way back to the dojo when she enrolled her children in ITF Tae Kwon Do in the early 2000s. This sparked a deep commitment to the art, which continues today.
In 2012, she took ownership of what is now Arrowhead Martial Arts and Fitness, where she continues to train and teach. Outside of Tae Kwon Do, April is a nurse and works as a consultant for individuals facing catastrophic injuries and illnesses. She lives in Georgia with her husband and is the proud mother of two adult sons.
Drew Wheling
With over four years of training, Drew Wheling has shifted his focus from personal growth to helping others progress in their martial arts journey. Inspired by the dynamic kicks from Cobra Kai, Drew originally joined Tae Kwon Do for the thrill, but now finds fulfillment in guiding less experienced students to reach their full potential.
PJ O’Brien, 2nd Degree Black Belt
A 2nd degree black belt, PJ O’Brien has been practicing Tae Kwon Do for more than a decade. Currently studying physical therapy at the University of Hartford, PJ is passionate about applying the discipline and focus from martial arts to his studies. Beyond TKD, he enjoys fishing and woodworking. For PJ, Arrowhead Martial Arts has become a second home, and he takes pride in being part of the supportive community Master Pettengill has built.
Sara Rogati, Black Belt
Sara Rogati has been training in Tae Kwon Do for five years and holds a black belt. Her passion for the art is matched by her love of helping others learn and grow. Sara lives in Milton with her family, which includes two brothers, a cat, a dog, and a tank full of fish. As someone who values inclusivity, Sara is always eager to welcome new faces to the dojo. Outside of TKD, Sara’s favorite color is pink, and she enjoys spending time with her family and pets.
Zulie Totin
Zulie Totin has been training at Arrowhead Martial Arts for a year and a half and has earned her high blue belt. She loves the blend of challenge and fun that Tae Kwon Do offers, along with the strong sense of community. For Zulie, training is about more than just martial arts—it’s about learning, growing, and being part of a supportive, encouraging environment.
